Why should I book a Dazzling Pamper Party?

As the OG pamper party provider in Devon & Cornwall (Over 17 years ago!!) I absolutely adore what I do and take pride in doing my very best to uphold my excellent customer service record. (You can read a snippet of almost 400 reviews online!)

There are lots of pamper party companies about nowadays, but Dazzling Pamper Parties is a unique party experience where the children are engaged throughout using a variety of games and activities and parents don't have to lift a finger.

I am an award-winning activities co-ordinator with a wealth of knowledge and expertise on engaging children. I am also highly experienced with working with children with additional needs, which is why my parties are designed to be inclusive for children who may not usually enjoy a social party environment. 

I know how special each child’s birthday is, both for them and you as their parent. That’s why I combine my passion for parties, fun & creativity to deliver lovely, high-quality party experiences that you’ll love and hopefully come back again in the future! 

 

How many children do you cater for?

All of the parties are available for a minimum of four children (although if less then I will add extras to make up for the fourth child) and a maximum of twelve children inclusive of the birthday child.

 

What areas do you cover?

I am located in Bovey Tracey in Devon and can travel up to 50 miles maximum. Locations outside of ten miles from Bovey Tracey will incur a travel supplement which will be quoted upon enquiry.

Where can you carry out my party?

I can carry out your child’s party at your home or at your chosen venue. I bring everything I need to set up and host your child’s party. If hiring a venue I recommend a smaller venue with parking facilities.

Can you carry out the party outside? 

Yes that's not a problem depending on the weather. For parties taking place outside, I kindly request that a form of shelter is provided in case of rain or hot, sunny weather and a cover of some sort such as tarpoling or heavy duty blankets are placed on the ground.

How much do your parties cost?

The party packages have different costs, so it is best to click on the individual package pages for full party details.

What if there are any children attending with allergies or skin conditions?

That is absolutely no problem at all! If you could let me know as far in advance as possible of the allergy/condition I can make adaptations where possible. I have consent forms that can be printed off from the 'Invitations' page. These can be signed by parents, however I am happy to have verbal confirmation too. 

Do you take photographs at the parties?

No I do not take photos at the parties. Firstly I don't have time during the party to take photos, but also gaining consent for sharing photos can be a bit of a mine field, so I prefer not to take photos. There may be occasions for advertising purposes I may select a party to take photos. In this instance I will gain consent from all parents beforehand. I am of course happy for parents to take photos of the parties and would love to share your photos if you're happy for me to post on social media afterwards.

Do you have public liability insurance?

Yes I am insured for £1,000,000.

Are you DBS certified?

Yes - I have a full DBS. I also work with vulnerable adults when I'm not partying, so you can trust that your children are in the safest hands.

What days are you available for parties?

I am available for parties on Saturday mornings and afternoons. I do have limited availability on Fridays after school and Sunday mornings.

How long do the parties take?

The party packages start from one hour for four children and can last up to two hours depending on which party package you select and how many children are at the party. Each party page will include details of how long your party will last. I will also confirm these details on booking. The parties are designed to include non-stop fun, so please allow extra time at the end if you would like to do any food/ cake.

What time will you arrive to set up?

I will arrive between 30mins and 15mins before the party to set up depending on the party package you have selected. I will advise this time on booking.

 

Who will be running the party?

It will be just me Bex (Bekki Boo). After 17 years of specialising in the parties, I have the perfect format so it will be stress-free for parents and lots of fun for the children!

What are the minimum and maximum ages for the children attending?

I have two categories for the parties; this is to ensure that the children will get the most engagement and enjoyment from the party based on their age. The minimum age for a guest is 3 and the maximum age is dependent on the individual but I would say 13. The Wonderland parties are suitable for ages 4-9 and the Pamper parties are suitable for ages 7-13. Although these age guidelines are in place, a couple of younger or older children at the party won't be a problem. (For example the birthday child turning 7 but the rest of the girls are 6 going on 7)

How much space will you need for the party?

This depends on the party package you have selected. For most of the parties I will just need an area of a room (usually a front room/ conservatory) for the children to sit in a circle on the floor with either the craft blanket/ cosy corner. I will need seating for the children such as sofas if you choose a party which included the foot pampering. Each party package will include details of what I will need.

Do you need me to provide anything?

For most of the parties I will not need anything other than space/ seating. For the parties which include foot pampering I will just need access to hot and cold water. For the Wonderland parties, I will need 5 minutes about halfway through the party to hide the treasure without the children peeking. If you could take them to a different room for a quick drink/ toilet break, that would be perfect.

Do you provide decorations?

I don’t provide additional decorations for your room.

Do you provide food or drinks?

I don’t provide any food or cakes, only the things that are included in your chosen party packages such as pink champagne or sweets and chocolate. Each party package page will have information on what is provided for the party.

Do I have to pay a deposit or pay in full?

A £30 non-refundable deposit is payable upon booking. Once you have confirmed your party booking, I will send you an email with all of the payment details.

What happens if children don't turn up on the day and I have already paid for them?

Please do not worry if this happens. You will only pay for the number on the day. The minimum number is four children, so if you book for 12 and only four are present on the day, a full refund of the additional children will be sent to you after the party. I don't believe in charging for children who don't attend - it isn't your fault so you won't be charged.

Can I change my party date after I book?

Of course! I do get booked up pretty quickly so the more notice you give, the better chance I will have to accommodate you on the new party date, or as close to it as possible.

What if I want to cancel my booking?

The £30 deposit is only refundable if you cancel within 48hours of booking. If you have paid anymore than that you will be fully refunded.
