What better way to get on board than having your very own Funky Flamingo Party! The Party... To start the party, everybody is taken to the magic carpet where the Birthday girl and her friends will receive their very own pet flamingo to take care of for the party. They will each give them their very own name and a special thing about them! The birthday girl receives a special flamingo headband to keep. Then the girls will take in turns to have a sparkly make over including: Nail polish on their fingernails Sparkly eye dust Lovely Lipstick Whilst the girls are waiting their turn for their make up, the rest of the girls will decorate some very special Flamingo Eggs which were laid by their flamingos just before arriving to the party. Once the girls have finished decorating their Flamingo eggs, received their pampering and played a couple of games they will be ready for a little refreshment break before the magical treasure hunt! Funky Flamingo Treasure hunt: Each child is given a treasure bag, where they will store any of their flamingo - themed treasure found inside! Musical Flamingos: Musical statues with a Flamingo twist! When the music stops instead of staying still, each of the children have to pose. Caution- may contain dinosoars, elephants and crazy frogs!! Pass the Prize: Bekki Boo is forever losing things! Only this time she has lost a special prize.. the sneaky children are hiding it from her but she must guess who has the prize before it disappears for good! Group circle games: A selection of group circle games will be played with lots of prizes until the end of the party where we will have the flamingo parade. Dazzling Flamingo Parade: A chance for the girls to show off their Dazzling new looks and their beautifully decorated Flamingo eggs to the rest of the party group. Of course, everybody is a winner so there is a prize for everyone! All children receive a special certificate for attending the pamper party! The Price... Everybody will then be fitted with a princess tiara and receive a glass of pink non-alcoholic champagne! The birthday girl will get a special birthday tiara to keep. We will then get to know each other with some questions such as everyone's favourite hobbies and colours! The children will then be given yummy products to put on their feet including scrumptious foot scrub and body buttercream. Once the foot pampering has finished it is time for everyone to take in turns on the pink pamper couch for their make up. Each person will be able to choose from a selection of nail polishes for their fingers or toes (the birthday girls can choose both fingers and toes to be painted), eye shadow and eye sparkle dust and a lipstick. The rest of the group will play group circle games while they are waiting their turn on the pamper couch! (Chocolate is included!) They will then take it in turns to have a dazzling glitter tattoo which lasts up to ten days and then have some glitter roots in their hair (washes out) Once everyone has been dazzlefied, they will then play group circle games until the end of the party where there will be a dance / pose challenge where everyone wins a prize. All children receive a certificate for attending the pamper party. Firstly HELLO and THANK YOU for choosing a Dazzling Pamper Party! I live in Devon with my boyfriend Marty, cat Purrdy and dogs Minnie & Mabel; My favourite colour is rainbow and I eat way too much pizza and sandwiches! I believe laughter can heal wounds that can't be seen and I tend to talk a lot, which does help with my jobs! I have been running Dazzling Pamper Parties since 2008. I developed my passion for working with children when I was just 16 and worked as a party and den supervisor at the local children's 'Deep Sea Den'. I would have a whale of a time accidentally falling in the ball pools and loved making the children laugh! I knew that I wanted a career that would make people laugh and feel happy. Fast forward a few years where I had trained for my holistic beauty therapy and teenage beauty specialist diplomas. I quickly realised that although I loved to work within the beauty trade - it wasn't where my heart was. I then went to University to become a Paediatric Occupational Therapist! It was during my first year placement at the hospital where I started Dazzling Pamper Parties. I knew I wanted to work with children and make them smile. I knew how important social inclusion is for children and how much a party can impact on their friendship groups. Dazzling Pamper Parties was designed around being affordable and stress-free for parents whilst being fun for children - and of course making them feel like the special princesses they are! Because they are designed to be carried out at home for groups as small as 4 and in a 'safe' environment (your own home) means that even children who struggle socially can take part and enjoy their party. Once I was up and running the parties became an instant hit! After my second year at Uni I decided my heart was no longer there, however still had a passion for helping people . During the years I have also worked in care settings as a support worker and enabler and have obtained my DBS certification. As well as being able to help children to enjoy their birthday parties I also worked as an activities and events manager for a local charity working with children and young adults with profound and multiple learning difficulties. After relocating to Bovey Tracey I also changed job as an activities coordinator for a residential home working with older people with dementia. This is equally a rewarding job which I absolutely love! When I'm not busy pampering or working I love spending time with my friends, their children and my family. I love nature and going on lovely walks around the moors and exploring lots of beaches! When i'm not feeling lazy I also love getting out on my bike! I even cycled from Vietnam to Cambodia back in 2013! As well as exploring the local Devon and Cornwall Delights, I love to go on HOLIDAY!! I have been lucky enough to visit lots of places around the globe but there are so many places to explore - i'm just going to keep having fun enjoying as many as I can! Well that's enough about me! If there are less children at the party, you will be refunded the difference so you don't need to worry if there are any no-shows on the day. Adverse Weather Notice! Unfortunately there may be rare occasions where due to ice, snow, strong winds, flooding etc that I will not be able to get to you for your party. I will try to get to you no matter what as I hate to let anybody down - especially children on their birthdays! Unfortunately my fairy magic doesn't stretch far enough to sort the weather and there might be times I can't get out to you safely. In the event that I cannot get to you for your party, I will contact you at the earliest opportunity that I can to inform you. Unfortunately for those who have morning parties, this could mean only a couple of hours notice for which I deeply apologise for in advance. If this does happen you can choose to have a full refund of any money paid including the deposit, or I will reschedule your party with a discounted rate for the inconvenience.
